THERE IS AN ANSWER FOR SASHA!
In my career I’ve met multiple players from the school champions to Roger Federer and the one thing that sets the champions apart a player is PURPOSE. My own journey from a small town in India where tennis court meant the porch outside your own house to a Level 2 ITF coach has been a tale of finding that purpose.
Recently, I met Sasha who has been training for 8 years but learning tennis for ZERO. There is no problem with the training but there doesn’t seem to a drive in Sasha herself. When I met her she was still trying to discover the tennis and what is she doing in the tennis court. Is it because her parents told her or is it some initial excitement. She was really struggling to understand the purpose and my job was clear – this is not a regular tennis training. This is mental training.
2 sessions is all it took to get her to find her own purpose and suddenly her learning curve grew exponentially. I’m extremely thankful to her parents for giving me and ace tennis academy this opportunity to bring out the tennis player in Sasha.
